- 1912  New Manitoba. In 1912 the province was extended northwest to the 60th parallel and eastward to a line drawn from the northeast angle to the original boundaries of the Province to the most northeasterly portion of Island Lake, thence northward to intersect with the southern shores of Hudson Bay in longitude 89 degrees.
- 1918  The portion added to the old province is variously known as "Northern Manitoba" or "New Manitoba."
